John Fisher Street Paintings

Created between 2002 and 2004, while based in John Fisher Street, East London, a series of abstract figurative works was created exploring everyday social themes and public life in central London. Influenced by the urban environment and the character of the surrounding streets, these paintings reflect the shifting relationships between people and the spaces they inhabit. Each work combines traditional oil paint and spray paint on board. The first six paintings measure 1220mm x 1220mm, while the second six measure 600mm x 600mm.
