Between 2010 and 2017, a collaborative project with eight writers resulted in a ten-book collection exploring the dynamic relationship between drawing and writing. The series investigates shared practices of notation, observation, transcription, and translation—methods through which lived experience is distilled into marks on paper. Both disciplines reconstruct fleeting moments through pen, ink, and line, where immediacy and mediation play central roles. The collaborative process foregrounds an interdisciplinary approach rooted in active response and mutual recognition. This collaboration is with writer, academic and educator, Tracey Warr.
